１億5777万9600円の山 作品「１億5777万9600円の山」（注１）は、神戸ファッション美術館（以下KFM）の西洋衣装コレクションによる“ファッション史の山”とその山を取り囲むように対峙する３体の“日本人マネキン”による構成である。ファッションデザインは、過去のデザインの上に数百年かけて積み上げてきたものであり、この山はまさにそれを具現化するものである。人が袖を通すことは勿論の事、シワの一つも許されない公立美術館のコレクションである１点数千万円クラスの衣装も含めての構成であり、KFM学芸員の手でしかこの山の構築はあり得ない。 使用する３体のマネキンは20才、40才、70才の日本人女性の平均的人体寸法ダミーである。全国３万４千人の人差し指の関節の幅、耳珠間隔、乳頭の高さ・・・といった100項目以上に及ぶ人体計測データから算出された究極のマネキンである（注２）。 本作品は、引用元（注３）である“アルテ・ポーヴェラ（貧しい芸術）”とは逆の“豊かな芸術”の創造であり、またグランパレにおけるボルタンスキーの５０トンの衣類の山よりもはるかに高額になることだろう。さらに、ファッションという複製が前提となる芸術の集積物であるにも拘らず、ベンヤミン言うところのアウラに満たされた山となるだろう。 注１・・・作品「１億5777万9600円の山」の金額部分は、実際に展示に使用した衣装の神戸ファッション美術館の購入金額の合計を算出したものである。 注２・・・（株）七彩と（社）人間生活工学研究センターとの共同開発。 注３・・・西洋人裸婦石膏像と衣類の山から構成されたミケランジェロ・ピストレットの「Venus of the rugs（1968）」 神戸ファッション美術館「ファッション奇譚」展カタログ 2010 より |

| The installation "157,779,600 Yen Mountain" consists of a pile of the Western clothes and three nude mannequins. The clothes were selected from the collection of Kobe Fashion Museum. The mannequins have average sizes of more than 100 body parts that were measured from 34,000 Japanese women. The shapes of three bodies mean ager 20, age 40 and age 70. The title indicates the total amounts of money of clothes which are used to create the mountain. The image is inspired from "Venus of the Rugs" (1968) by Michelangelo Pistoletto, Italian artist of Arte Povera, and "50 Tons of Clothing" (2010) by Christian Boltanski at Grand Palais Paris. So much expensive clothes are made the installation which is welled up from Poor Art, the artist is proud to say that "157,779,600 Yen Mountain" is the most precious and the most beautiful heap of clothes than ever!
